The Massachusetts Juneteenth Council of America is dedicated to honoring the legacy of emancipation and advancing equity through education, celebration, and civic engagement. Our mission is to commemorate Juneteenth as a pivotal moment in American history, while promoting cultural awareness, economic empowerment, and community unity across Massachusetts and beyond.

Through year-round programming, historical preservation, public events, and policy advocacy, we ensure that Juneteenth is not only remembered—but serves as a foundation for transformative action.
